At SCDO, our version of community development is supporting the vulnerable, our women for development program embraces vulnerable women like single mothers, widows and young girls that have dropped out school with love and empowering them to care for themselves and their families.
When you sponsor our Women for Development program, you help us provide business skills training, mentorship, and a credit loan to start a small business which is necessary for women to earn a living. Your generosity restores hope, dignity, and sustainability to a single mother and her family, or a young girl to have a dream.
Sponsor a child
We are committed to supporting children from families that can’t afford to send their children to school, especially orphans and children with single mothers. In Uganda, school fees are the biggest cost factor for families and many families are already unable to provide for the basic needs of the family. A wonderful way to support a child in need is to help them to get an education. Sponsorship is a personal way of opening up future prospects for a child. Start today.
General Donation
Through a general donation, you help us to organize educational events, and school trips and to expand extracurricular activities such as the school band, sports, and creative activities. We also want to expand our small farm to offer a variety of meals for the pupils and bring the Women for Development training to other villages.
